A product of the model minority myth, Grace has never felt comfortable expressing herself freely, except through her art.  She paints her feelings and her truth through faces which at first glance, may seem expressionless and stoic, but when studied, conveys a deep sense of human sadness and desire to belong.  She works primarily in oils, but loves watercolor as well.  Grace connects deeply with every face she paints and discovers an inner beauty and fuller human understanding with every stroke of the brush.  Each painting has an emotional connection from artist to subject as the face slowly appears on the canvas.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA, '05) and the School of Visual Arts (MA, '10), Grace has been immersed in the Art world for over 20 years.  She taught elementary school Art for 10 years until she realized her true passion was to be a painter.

She loves to share her knowledge and offers painting courses from novice to advanced levels. As a mom, wife, artist, and teacher, she keeps herself busy!
